How to search wikipedia without internet(offline wikipedia)

Wikipedia is a great source of information, not always reliable but good enough to help you in times of need. To carry an offline version with you for those times when internet access is lacking.

You have to download whole wikipedia to your computer(Not tons of GB only 8+ gb)
HOW TO:

First You have to download Wikitaxi (WikiTaxi enables you to read, search, and browse Wikipedia offline) CLICK BELOW TO DOWNLOAD 

Now you have to download dump file from Wikipedia backup click below to download latest English backup.For other languages click here

                                                                            

After you have downloaded above two files now open WikiTaxi_1.3.0.7z and open WikiTaxi_Importer.exe

In WikiTaxi_Importer browse for xml dump file you have downloaded above and select where wikitaxi database file will be created.  

• Now click on import now. This will take time. You can increase or decrease ram for database option to run it fastly. Be moderate, however, or you risk your system running out of memory. The default setting usually works fine.
• Once you have a WikiTaxi database, you can run WikiTaxi to browse your Wikipedia off-line. Start WikiTaxi.exe, and open a database. WikiTaxi will display a random page and you can start browsing from here.
